Marrott Update

If you look really, really hard, you can see the humvee down at the bottom, just left of the little peak that Steve is sitting by. That's where he started hiking from. Now I can see why he's lost 25 lbs!
This is just one of their many mascots. Polly, I think. Cute, huh?
Here is Steve and another mascot, Lucian, a red wolf cub they saved. This is also the front porch and chair that Steve built outside his connex. He's so handy!
Cori and me at her 5th grade graduation.
Silly girl.
Here she is in her new middle school, learning about lockers. She just looks older now. Middle School. Scary. Oh, isn't her hair cut adorable?!
Conner played in a huge soccer tournament in Nashville, but I forgot to take any pictures. . .so here's this instead. :-D His team lost and there wasn't much to say, but we did have a blast in Nashville. We even went to see Kung-Fu Panda at the Imax. Very fun.

Lastly, Steve said you might want to hold off on sending him packages for a while because they might be relocated and he doesn't want the packages getting lost in the chaotic mail system over there. So unless you have a letter or package ready to mail by about this Thursday, I'd say just hold onto it for a little while and he'll let me know when it is a good idea to send more. He's loved all the packages so far and knows that is an effort and a cost to do all this and he appreciates it so much! He is so thrilled when mail comes for him.
Well, that's about it. I'll try to be better about staying up on this blog.

Twins Visit. . .It's only a month late!

Ok, here's a bunch of pictures, and of course, I have more. Some are of the twins at the Dunbar Cave area, which is where we were very excited to find a vine to swing on. Kristie, I'll email you the rest of the pics, there are tons. There's also a few of their birthday party, of them at Cori's graduation, and hanging at the pool. We had so much fun. I really enjoyed their visit. Thank you Inmans for sharing them with us!

Yes, Family...Becky does have a ..."boyfriend"?

Ok, so Mom spilt the beans about me and a possible new boyfriend. I guess it is time to come out in the open and let the family know ........ the situation. Yes I have met a very nice man. I first "met" him on the internet, he is a cousin of one of my friends. Ok, I'll stop referring to him as "him" and give you all a name. His name is Robert Toner. I offically met Rob (meaning face to face) on the 9th of...yes, this month. Now let me answer some FAQ's:
Is he LDS? No, but he is willing to give the church a shot, he is very open minded about the LDS faith.
How old is he? He is 35, yes aren't you all proud...he is only a year and a half years younger than me. :-)
Anything intresting I should know? YES.... His birthday is May 6th (Devan's is May 12th), and they have the same Chineese "thingy" sign...they are both Ox's. He totally believes that Devan has something to so with us meeting and he wished that he could have met Devan, he feels as if he has had something taken away by not being able to meet her. Exactly my thoughts!!
Has he ever been married? No, nor does he have any children and he knows I can no longer have children and for him, keeping me is more important than having a biological child.
Do the kids like him? The kids love him. This in and of itself is a huge sign to me!
Is it serious? I want to say no, that I don't like him.....but yes it is. We are planning to have just a little ceramony and nothinng big, not yet. When? Maybe as soon as June 28th, but nothing is set in stone. I still have to talk to the bishop.
Well, I have to go...but I will update later!
Love ya all!

Back to Afghanistan

I left yesterday for yet another vacation in Afghanistan. Happy Father's Day to me. In the picture are my friends JD and Deanna who were gracious enough to take me to the drop off point at 6:30 in the morning. Stef and the girls had left Wednesday to visit Stef's mom. Shye didn't want to leave before me, but I encouraged her strongly. My flight had already been delayed once and she had put off driving out to her mom's. If I were delayed again she would miss too much time and her family hasn't seen her or Katie for a year now and they haven't seen the big girls for almost two years. In a way it was easier to leave without anyone there crying and being sad. It was hard enough on Wednesday when they left and Friday when I said goodbye to Mom, Sheralan, Cori and Conner Mom was crying and I could she Sheralan fighting the tears which made me get all emotional. Technically I am not in Afghanistan yet, I'm at Manas Air Force Base in Kyrgistan, I am expected to fly into Bagram, AF tomorrow. I should only be there a year this time and I will try to keep everyone posted on how I'm doing.

MOVING IN!!!!

Thanks for letting me join folks, now you will NEVER get rid of me. LOL

Just wanted to say hi to everyone and tell you all that I miss you and love each and everyone of you. I can't believe how Alan looks like gramps. I about died when Chelsea called me and told me to look at the photo of him on here, she told me to take away the mustache, and so I did, I almost shed a tear, he was the best grampa out there, and Alan you rock too. :}

My seventh son got blessed on last Sunday, he is soo adorable if I do say so myself.
If you want to here about the story or see more photos just click here..

Love you all, and Yes, Tom and Trevor, PLEASE try to find wives before the second Coming, OK!!!! By the way, this will be the only post I do, because I didn't really want to move in on your blog, just comment on it, but I wanted EVERYONE to know that I love you ALL.

This is Exciting ~ I'm REALLY Feeling!!

I thought the trip to the hosp. was worthless prior to it and after it but I'm beginning to see the benefits. I was very angry about going, especially with Eve and Aurora here. Oh BTW I absolutely LOVED having them here and I'm so grateful for having so much time to get to know them as they are now!! I hope I didn't corrupt them too much!! But we had a lot of fun. We laughed so much. I hope I can get two more kids soon!!!! Tawny would do fine here alone and so would David but the younger ones would go stark raving crazy from boredom. I hope ALL of them can come in spaced out times sometime. It will give me such a fantastic opportunity to get to really know them and for them to get to really know me!! Maybe I'll get a job and can pay for them to come. And I will drive much more carefully since that one way street incident is why Janice put me in the hospital. Anyhow back to the feeling stuff. When they discharged me they'd changed my meds. They put me on adderoll to help me focus better and Cymbalta as an antidepressant. But something wonderful happened!! My ins. co wouldn't cover the Cymbalta and I'm doing better than I've EVER done in my life!!!! I'm going to try to stay off the Cymbalta. The adderoll helps only with adult attention deficit disorder but it's working miracles. By being forced not to take the Cymbalta I've found I feel like I used to. A long time ago. The one change .... I'm crying and I'm really feeling my feelings. I have to admit that feeling the pain, betrayal, abandonment and anger really sucks but it's so wonderful that I can cry .... and I'm not talking about my typical few tears rolling down my cheeks, I can have lots of tears flow. This is a gift!!! Now I can feel exuberance and joy. I can feel the Spirit so much stronger. I can feel everything. I was told in one blessing that until I could really learn to feel the pain and cry I wouldn't really feel excitement, joy, the blessings of feeling the Spirit ..... I didn't know how true that was until now. WOW!!!! It's so wonderful. Sometimes so awful but it's worth the awful to get to the wonderful. I am so happy!! Just had to share that. I know that doesn't mean I'm cured but it sure means I'm well on my way!!! I love you all so much!!!!!!!!!!!!! (And if Tom does the "Who Wants to Marry a Hunk of a Cowboy" thing I will check into a hospital just so they have to prove their worth by coming to see me.) ROFLMAO
