Steve's Care Package

I'm glad we signed up for April - I'd hate to see how long it took to get a package on the moon!! I'm hoping if that settlement occurs the family gets to go to, what an experience that would be! We had fun putting together stuff for Steve. What you can't see in the picture is all the love - it barely fit into the box!

First Iraq, then Afghanistan. . .Now the Moon?

Steve's deployments have taken him far, but how much farther will they take him? Here's a link to a bizarre article on Live Science about soldiers colonizing the moon and Steve's platoon sgt has volunteered them. There's actually a picture of Steve's troop about halfway down, Steve is on the far right. Check it out. It is. . .interesting, to say the least.

More family!

Howdy all, I have enjoyed 'blog stocking' Devri & Chelsea's families so much, it didn't even occur to me to open this up to them, until Chelsea suggested it, so I sent out the invite to that part of the Williams line! I also am putting their blog address on our home page so you can check them out - amazing families- both of them! Somebody needs to get Stefani on here! Becky, I see you're on, so blog girl, blog! Earthquake

So I woke up at 4:30 a.m. this morning and I just kind of laid in bed for a while, but at 4:40 I was jumping out of bed wondering what in the heck was happening. I have felt an earthquake in CA before but it didn't feel at all like what I experienced this morning. In CA, it felt like a rolling, rocking sensation. This felt like a sharp jolting back and forth for about 10 seconds. I couldn't figure out what had happened until I finally found a news program covering it. Conner felt it too. It woke him up. The only way I can describe it is, it was like when someone grabs your shoulders and shakes you, except it was the entire house that was being shaken. It was weird.

Did anyone else around here feel it?

David has lost his wisdom (teeth)

Guess who had their wisdom teeth pulled yesterday? Poor baby!

David's life

I think most everyone knows by now, but just in case I'll fill you in. David was accepted into an internship for the summer. He'll be staying witjh a 'host' family in Northern TX (Border of TX & OK), I'll meet them on the phone before he meets them in person. He'll be selling educational books door to door. He gets college credits plus the average salesman makes aroun $7,000. for the summer. You all know David - he's always been above average- so he's planning on much more than that. He can do this for the next two summers and have more than enough to pay for his mission. Now we're in a whirl-wind trying to get everything together. Since he turns 18 this summer he'll be off of Hoosier Ins., so he's getting his wisdom teeth pulled tomorrow (there will be film and pictures of that one:-) He's cramming for finals and writing two or three papers, plus he has quite a bit to memorize for his internship. He's also trying to finish a web page he was hired to do so he can get paid and use that $ to put into the broken down red car so he can drive it out to Nashville for the training and then to TX. He's leaving a day early so he can spend it with mom and the gang and go to church. He's obviously stressed, he talked in his sleep all night last night.
We all are just revolving around David ha ha ha, he wishes!
